1.1 Opening of the session
The seventy-fifth session of the Executive Council will open at 0900 (CEST) on 20 June 2022 at the WMO Headquarters in Geneva.
1.2 Adoption of the agenda
In accordance with Regulation 128 of the General Regulations, the provisional agenda will be submitted to the Council for approval at the opening meeting and may be amended at any time in the course of the session.

1.3 Establishment of committees
The Council will be invited to work in plenary throughout the session. Committees for the session may be established as required, in particular to facilitate the building of consensus on the draft documents.
The Council appointed Ms Meteescu as a member and Mr Mohapatra as chair of the Selection Committee for Dr Vilho Väisälä Award.
1.4 Programme and methods of work of the session
The Council will agree upon:
(a) Plenary meetings: from 0900 to noon and from 1400 to 1700 (CEST);
(b) Tentative programme of work for the session.
The possibility of participating remotely through videoconference will be offered to those members unable to be present in Geneva. The Council will adopt methods of work for a hybrid session.
